Dr. Len Green, DC
Chiropractor
Dr. Green leads what he calls a “chiropractic” lifestyle. I sleep well, eat well, exercise regularly, and love spending time with my family. He uses a variety of techniques depending on what is best and most effective for his patients such as spinal manipulation, which is very effective when the spinal joints are indicated. “There are many techniques within manipulation that can be used. Soft tissue techniques are also very complimentary with manipulation, such as Active Release Technique (ART).” Dr. Green employs the use of modalities, such as Shockwave therapy, ultrasound therapy, spinal decompression therapy, laser therapy, and electrotherapy; all are effective alone and/or in combination.
Dr. Green treats neuro-musculoskeletal conditions; acute and chronic. He has a special interest in treating chronic conditions as these can be the most distressing to patients and the most challenging for health care providers. Dr. Green introduced Shockwave Therapy into the clinic years ago specifically for these chronic conditions. “It has given me a real opportunity to help people that have been suffering for a long time. Not only does the science support the effectiveness of Shockwave but so do my years of experience using it.”
Dr. Green loves to spend time with my family and friends, and this occupies a lot of my time outside the clinic. He enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking mediterranean dishes and other “exotic” foods. Dr. Green skies, snow shoes, and plays hockey in the winter. In the summer he loves stand-up paddle boarding, but his real passion is boxing. “I have been boxing for twelve years and love the physical chess match of getting into the ring and trying to out think and out box my opponents.”
Dr. Green has been married to his beautiful Sharon for twenty one years and have two incredible children, Max and Phoebe. His older sister is a medical doctor and older brother is a chiropractor; he grew up with a common interest in helping people. He was born and bred in Toronto and is here to stay.
